I am a junior at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. I am studying elementary education and child development in the Peabody College. I am from Moreland Hills, OH and graduated from Hawken School.  This semester I will be traveling to Cape Town, South Africa to study abroad with SIT World Learning. The program’s theme is Multiculturalism and Human Rights. I will spend my time in four different homestays followed by a month-long independent study project. The purpose of this blog is to keep in touch with family and friends by sharing sights, thoughts and pictures from abroad.
